Quiet luxury

In the heart of the Auvergne Volcanoes Natural Park, at 1,300 metres, Le Buron de la Chambe is an old shepherd’s house in stone, restored with extreme care. No electricity, no signal. Spring water, a wood-burning stove, candlelight. For up to eight guests, two independent bedrooms, a stone trough turned into a bathtub, a fitted kitchen. Outside, the horses and goats keep watch.
